Initial Visit

The first appointment is an intake session that usually lasts about 2 hours. This is a time to review medical history, life history and discuss major concerns and reasons for seeking treatment. It is helpful if you bring a list of your medications and supplements with dosages and frequency. Depending on time, there will be a basic physical exam and Chinese diagnosis and there may even be time for some needles. Sometimes, with longer intake sessions, the exam and first treatment will happen the second time we meet.

Follow-Up Treatments

These are usually 1 hour and we will be in the room together the whole time. We review your concerns and goals and note any changes in your health and then we proceed with your own personalized treatment plan.

Frequency of Treatment

Clients are usually seen weekly until symptoms improve and balance is achieved and then treatments can be spread out to every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, monthly, every few months and then seasonally. Each individual is unique and response to treatment will vary based on the depth and duration of your concern(s).
